Paola Grenier
Paola Grenier is a Dahrendorf Scholar at the Centre for Civil Society, London School of Economics and Political Sciences, where she is pursuing a doctorate in social policy. She has researched and written on social entrepreneurship in the UK and internationally, as well as on social movement, social capital and global civil society. In 2006 she published 'Social Entrepreneurship: Agency in a Globalising World' and presented 'What is social entrepreneurship really about? A discursive analysis of social entrepreneurship'. Before entering academia she worked for ten years in the nonprofit sectors in the UK and in Hungary, specialising in social housing, homelessness, medical self help, and mental health.
